I work with individuals and couples looking to improve and heal their relationships. In therapy with me, you will find a listening ear and non- judgmental space to process your life experiences. Humans are social creatures that need relationships. I believe healing happens in relationships, and the counseling space is a great place to safely examine your inner world. If you are seeking couples therapy, we will utilize the Gottman Method to help understand your concerns and build a roadmap to connection and healing.
I started my career in marketing and advertising and was quickly left unfulfilled. I then followed my own mental health journey and have benefitted greatly. I decided to pursue my masters to learn even more and work in the counseling world. I have a deep desire to share what I’ve learned, but to also hold space for others as they journey their own path. There is nothing more freeing and fulfilling than living authentically and finding balance.
I completed my masters program at Seminary of the Southwest which specializes in spirituality and cultural sensitivity. I work with a wide variety of clients and believe my training has allowed me to remain humble and sensitive to people’s needs. I work from a person-centered approach, which puts you in the driver’s seat of the therapeutic journey. I may have specialized knowledge and tools, but only you can be the expert on your own life. I have also completed Levels 1 and 2 in Gottman Method Couples Therapy which allows us to have a roadmap to managing conflict and expressing oneself in relationship with others.
I really love working with people who want to put in the work to make meaning and live in congruence with their values, even if you don’t know those values yet. I love working with people who are curious and eager to learn.
I live in Austin with my husband and two cats. We love to get outside as much as possible to hike and explore the city. I love to bake in my free time and host dinner parties. I love traveling and adventuring whenever possible. I enjoy reading as much as possible.
