About Marceli
I became a counselor because I've always been fascinated by what makes people tick, how our experiences, relationships, and beliefs shape the way we move through the world. Today, I help individuals and couples navigate anxiety, trauma, relationship stress, and life transitions using approaches like EMDR, CBT, CPT, EFT, and Gottman Level 2. My style is warm, direct, and collaborative: I'm not here for surface-level fixes or forced positivity, but to help you understand your patterns, build practical tools, and create meaningful, lasting change. Therapy can feel intimidating at first, but it doesn't have to feel heavy all the time. Growth can include honesty, curiosity, and even moments of humor along the way.
My Approach
My approach to therapy is genuine, mindful, and emotionally-focused. I believe that it is often not enough to challenge only negative thoughts. Thoughts are only one piece of the puzzle. We are complex human beings and our emotions are complex too! I strive to guide my clients to have a deeper understanding of who they are and who they want to become. We have all encountered different life paths with their own particular obstacles, and we all have obstacles we are yet to face. I want to empower my clients to build the resiliency necessary to face these challenges with open arms. My role as your therapist is not to "fix" your problems but to help you understand that you are capable of creating the change you desire.
