About Liz

Liz Denny is an LPC-Associate who supports individuals and couples as they work through relationship challenges, stress, overwhelm, and seasons of change. She enjoys helping clients who may feel anxious, disconnected, or caught in patterns that no longer serve them, as well as those who are simply trying to find their footing in a new chapter of life. Before becoming a counselor, Liz spent years working in the technology sector and raising a family. Her own experiences with the demands and isolation that can sometimes accompany modern life played an important role in leading her toward counseling. Today, she brings both professional training and personal understanding to her work with clients.

My Approach

My approach is warm, relational, and collaborative. I invite clients to step out of autopilot and develop a clearer understanding of their needs, emotions, and patterns. Together, we explore the patterns that may be keeping you stuck and consider new ways of relating to yourself and others. Through this process, you can gain greater clarity, reconnect with a sense of choice and possibility, and build a stronger connection with yourself as you work toward meaningful, lasting change.

I see therapy as an opportunity to understand where you've been while also making room for where you want to go. I approach difficult emotions, behaviors, and relationship patterns with curiosity rather than judgment, exploring what they may reveal about what you need and what may no longer be working in your life. With greater understanding comes the opportunity to make intentional decisions that align with who you are and how you want to live, creating a future that feels more authentic and intentional.
